Jonathan Martin Joins Gateway Music Group

imageSt. Louis, MO(Press Release) – Gateway Music Group is proud to announce the recent addition of a name familiar with Southern Gospel, Jonathan Martin.

Jonathan Martin grew up in rural southern Arkansas with his sisters,Joyce and Judy, in an 800 square-foot cabin without electricity or indoor plumbing. Coached by their musical mom, they began singing to pass the time away, when Jonathan was 8 years old. At the age of 14, he and his sisters quit public school and began singing full-time as The Martins.

The group was discovered and began appearing on the Gaither Homecoming videos and concert series. Ten years and eight albums later, the Martins emerged as one of the most recognizable trios in Christian music. Honors they have received include six Dove Awards, and nomination for a Grammy Award. Appearances encompass diverse venues and programs, such as:
Carnegie Hall in New York City, NY
Celebrating America's Musical Heritage -
A Salute to Gospel Music at the White House
100 Huntley Street-Canada
Sam's Place at The Ryman
700 Club
Crystal Cathedral
Silver Dollar City
Dollywood
National Religious Broadcasters (NRB)
Christian Booksellers Association (CBA)
Southern Baptist Convention

Jonathan is now continuing to be obedient to the call God has placed on his life in solo ministry. His testimony is one of courage, grace, and God's faithfulness. His songs reflect the promises that God has for us all. Jonathan Martin is currently available for solo dates.
