Jerry Pilgrim Joins Safely Anchored

imageSafely Anchored and Journey Records would like to announce the addition of Jerry Pilgrim to the group. Jerry will be adding the Bass part to the trio, making them a very diverse quartet. Safely Anchored met Jerry at National Quartet Convention 2003, and learned that he was searching for a group to sing with. When Ray Mahaffey learned that Jerry was available he immediately stated, “ If we are ever going to hire a bass singer, this is the guy.” I can honestly say that there is a lot of excitement coming from this group. Vanessa Mahaffey stated, “ We are enjoying Jerry’s ability to sing bass so smoothly. The sound is still very Safely Anchored only now with low notes. We could not have asked for a better bass.”

Safely anchored is headed back to the studio this November to record an album for the first time as a mixed quartet. The album should be available for Christmas. You can check all this out and more at http://www.safelyanchored.com

I purchased some cd's from this group a few years ago and still love to listen to the songs. They never grow old. My youngest loves the song Naaman. Can I find an accompainment tape of it somewhere? I would like for her to learn the song. Thanks

Vanessa and Cody still sing at my church, and are still as great as ever! I love their music, and its such a blessing to be able to call such talented voices family:)
