Jeremy Calloway Joins Southern Sound Quartet

Southern Sound has just announced that they have hired a new tenor to replace long time tenor Roger Sweeney who has retired from the group. Jeremy Calloway from Owensboro, KY has accepted the position and begins his duties as Southern Sound's tenor immediately.

Ben Harris states, "Jeremy is a great blending tenor and a great young man. He is smooth as silk and sings with wonderful feeling. We are confident Jeremy is just the guy the Lord had in mind for Southern Sound. We send our prayers and best wishes to Roger who has been loyal to Southern Sound for almost seven years now."

To Charlie and the boys of Southern Sound:

I am personally very sorry to hear of Roger's vo-cal problems and very disappointed that he has to retire from singing. Roger is a good tenor singer
but also one of nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. He will be missed by many. Best of success with your new tenor singer.

I think everyone will be really impressed when they hear Jeremy sing. He has a great attitude and a great voice. We all feel very blessed he came our way.

Southern Sound also honors Roger for the many years of service he has given to the quartet. He is a very talented singer and a fine, Christian man. Please pray for all of us as we enter this new phase.

I had the opportunity to hear Southern Sound today in Tolu, Ky. with new tenor Jeremy Calloway. He did a great job for his first concert with the quartet, and with only 4 hours of practice with them. If you have the opportunity to hear this great group of guys, GO!
    You won't be disappointed.

My continued prayers go to the quartet and Roger as they all start on a new journey.

I just want to say how much I have enjoyed Roger Sweeney over the years. I know that he will miss singing with the guys and they will likewise miss him. I wish him all the best.

Now Southern Sound launches into a new era and I look forward to hearing them soon.
