Branson, MO - Popular singer, songwriter, author and talk show host, Janet Paschal was honored this week by SoGospelNews.com with the 2010 SGN Music Award nomination for Favorite Female Vocalist. The Award kicks off what promises to be another thrilling year for Paschal, who earned multiple award nominations in 2009, as well as her first Number One Southern Gospel radio hit, “Hide Me Sweet Rock Of Ages.”
This year marks the ninth presentation of the SGN Music Awards. Nominees are selected by SoGospelNews.com staff members and select media representatives. In addition to accepting honors and accolades in 2009, Paschal was busy touring and promoting her latest book (Treasures of the Snow) and CD (Treasure). The popular singer also launched a brand new radio series in March promoting cancer awareness. Walking The Good Road airs on JOY FM’s network of stations, covering seven states. Paschal’s latest Top 20 radio hit, “Jesus Is Alive And Well,” is currently playing at stations nationwide.
