Hope’s Call Celebrates Beyond the Music: An Acappella Collection with Solid Gospel

Latest Project Earns Group Six SGN Music Award Nominations

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Hope’s Call, one of Southern Gospel’s most exciting trios, recently spent the day on the air at Solid Gospel Radio Network celebrating the release of the group’s latest project Beyond the Music ~ An Acappella Collection.

While in the studio, Hope’s Call shared the inspiration behind the project with DJ Jeremy Sweat, as well as several cuts from the project. The group spent two hours in the studio celebrating Hope’s Call’s most critically acclaimed album to date.

“This is the best acappella recording since the Cathedrals’ first acappella release,” said Les Butler of Singing News Magazine and Solid Gospel. “Oh, by the way, they pull it off in person as well!”

In addition, Beyond the Music: An Acappella Collection earned the group its first ever Album of the Year nomination in the 2006 SGN Music Awards. The group also received five additional nominations including Song of the Year (“You Are Loved”), Mixed Group of the Year, Progressive Southern Song (“You Are Loved”) and Progressive Southern Album (Beyond the Music: An Acappella Collection). Group member Donna Beauvais also received an individual nomination for Producer of the Year (Artist) in this year’s awards.

Donna states, “I don’t think it can ever be said enough that God has a GREAT BIG PLAN for each of our lives…I don’t consider myself more talented than most…but I do consider myself exceedingly blessed by the favor of GOD. I love producing music. I love working with other ministries and watching their efforts come to life. I love that GOD lets me serve HIM everyday…His goodness is absolutely overwhelming to me.”

The group was recently confirmed as a performer in this year’s SGN Music Awards Celebration to be held in Smyrna, Tennessee on April 25, 2006. More details concerning the awards program will be released at a later date.

Hope’s Call’s latest single, “Singing Heaven’s Song,” has seen numerous amounts of early radio success around the country and has become the group’s fastest rising single to date. The single is currently sitting at #20 on the Singing News Top 80 for the upcoming February 2006 chart. The song also spent two weeks in the #1 position on the SouthernGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart, and it has earned itself a Top 10 spot on the U.S. Gospel News Top 100. The song is also currently sitting in the Top 20 in PowerSource Magazine, TheSouthernGospel.com, and SGUSA Weekly Countdown.

“Singing Heaven’s Song” can be found on the Heritage Communications August Compilation disc, Cut #3, and it is also available on Daywind Compilation 62.
