Haire Family/Rick Hendrix Celebrate Debut Album

imageNashville,TN The Haire Family of Reed ,Ky. recently celebrated their 4 th Top 40 song from their debut album "Top of the Mountain" The trio of Barbara,Don and Trinity are a mother, son and daughter from Ky that came onto the gospel music scene just 2 years ago with their first song "Top of the Mountain" which peaked at 28 on the National charts. The song immediately gained them attention from the Appalachian areas. "With the next couple of singles, we tried to build them into a broader approach for Southern Gospel lovers. We released Running to the Cross and the mid summer hit of 2002 "Sheltered" that earned them a Horizon Group of the Year nomination, and went to # 1 and # 3 on the National charts and landed in the Singing News Top 20 Songs of 2002 at # 16, stated Rick Hendrix. The Haires have also been asked to sing at this years National Quartet Convention Spectacular in Louisville,Ky this September. With the finishing touches on their yet to be released new project, they are excited God has allowed them to make so many new friends." We never expected to be embraced as we have, we just answered his call, and he placed every single person in our life, the charts and awards are nice, But, just knowing he answers our prayers, and loves us still, is amazing to me," stated Barbara Haire.
