God uses a song…

God uses many people and methods to reach the lost, often in ways we don’t even understand. Cheri Taylor was recently told of an incident when God used a method with which she is very familiar – the title song from her latest CD, “Mercy Said No.”

Cheri said, “I sang ‘Mercy Said No’ at a concert in Kentucky about a month ago. I just received a card in the mail from a woman who was at the concert. She told me how much the song had touched her, and she bought the CD with the song on it. Then this past weekend she was praying with a woman at the altar.”

She wrote on the card, “The woman with whom I was praying was deep in sin, and I began reciting the words from ‘Mercy Said No’ to her. She didn’t think the Lord could ever forgive her. After church we were together and I actually played the song for her. She began to weep, and accepted the Lord’s forgiveness. The Enemy was defeated!”

“Now that, my friend, is what Gospel music is for,” Cheri said. “Praise the Lord!”
