Crabb Family Celebrates New Arrival

imageHENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.— Jason and Shellye Crabb are the proud parents of a baby girl born on the evening of February 13, 2003. Ashleigh Taylor Crabb weighed approximately 8 lbs. Ashleigh made her stage debut just moments after she was born. The rest of the Crabb Family was performing at their scheduled date and during the concert Jason called his siblings to tell them the wonderful news. From stage the cell phone was held up to the microphone and Ashleigh gave out a big cry. Dad, Mom and baby are all doing well.

imageJason is clearly a major part of the distinctive sound of the Crabb Family. His vocals have led to numerous number one songs, including “That’s No Mountain,” “Please Forgive Me,” “Through The Fire,” “I Sure Miss You,” as well as others. Shellye maintains an active role with the group, including handling all the product needs.

The Crabb Family continues to garner success in the Gospel Music industry with top radio hits, television appearances, a full performance schedule, features in publications and numerous awards. The family is currently scheduled to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry tonight, February 14, 2003.

April 22, 2003 marks the release date for the Crabb Family’s debut Daywind Music Group release, The Walk. New Day Christian Distributors, Word Entertainment and WEA will distribute the project to stores nationwide. The first radio single, “The Walk,” is currently playing on radio stations across the country and was the #1 Pick Hit for March according to the Singing News Magazine.
