Guy Penrod of the Gaither Vocal Band surprised those attending the Family Fest in Gatlinburg, TN this weekend when he announced that he and his wife Angie are expecting baby number 8.
No further information is available at this time, but we congratulate the Penrods on this joyous news.

Wow!When God said go forth and multiply , he didn't mean you needed to do it alone ...he he . just kidding . I've seen your brood on the Gaither special (and tape) and they are a beautiful group . I believe you have all boys ? WEll if this baby turns out to be a girl , she'll be one lucky and protected little girl with all those brothers , but if it's another boy , he will have alot of great role models to look up to . Congratulations on your baby girl. I saw the interview you had with bill gathier at your home and thought it was wonderful.
