Nashville, TN. - The SGM FanFair Awards nominations were announced yesterday in a press release announcement, and southern gospel duo Back Home was nominated for Favorite Duet of the Year.
The SGM FanFair Awards are awarded by the readers of Christian Voice Magazine and fans of the SGM FanFair. The category of Duet of the Year honors the most popular duets in the Southern Gospel industry.
"It is truly and honor to be mentioned in the same category as Jeff and Sheri Easter and Aaron and Amanda. I can assure you, everything that is happening right now in our life, which just inlcuded being endorsed by Metcalf Handcrafted Guitars and this nomination is truly a God thing", states Jennifer Layne.
This is the 2nd nomination Back Home has received from the SGM FanFair. Last year, Back Home, was nominated for New Excelling Artist of the Year.
The nominees in the SGM FanFair Awards were chosen by the readers of Christian Voice Magazine and attendees of the SGM FanFair. The winners for the awards will be announced on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at the 6th Annual SGM FanFair.
