Naomi and The Segos Perform Benefit

Vine Records Recording Artists Naomi and The Segos from Centerville, Georgia will be performing a free community-wide concert on Sunday September 28th at the First Baptist Church, 309 South Commerce Street in Geneva, AL starting at 6:00 PM

According to baritone vocalist and emcee Scott Spangler, "This concert is going to be a very special occasion for all of us. Recently, we learned that BAE Systems, the company that makes body armor and vehicle armor for the military protecting us in Iraq was, without warning, letting all their employees go. This has affected the entire Geneva area. When I found out that the Geneva Ministerial Association was planning on having a community dinner to minister to the families hit by this loss, I knew we had to go there and not only minister to their spirits, but give them good quality Christian entertainment to help them forget their worries. We just want to bless those folks that have lost their jobs".

SGMA Hall of Fame member and reiging First Lady of Gospel Music Naomi Sego adds, "Geneva, Alabama has always been good to the Sego Brothers and Naomi and my current group as well. My former long-time tenor singer, the late William Pippin was from Geneva and I'm looking forward to going back there and seeing old friends, singing about our Lord and if one soul comes to Christ through this, it'll be worth the trip".

Naomi and The Segos latest single, "99 1/2" is receiving heavy airplay across the country as well as on XM Satellite Radio. Their website, http://www.naomiandthesegos.org is currently being reconstructed and will be online again very soon.
