Bev McCann - Jul 08

Hello to you all!
Summer is here and it is getting a little warm, so find a nice cool place to sit and take a moment to be refreshed in God’s Word.

I don’t know about you but these past few weeks have been quite the challenge; but you know God has great things in store for his people, if we can only trust in His word and keep on holding on. I have been reading over a few scriptures these past few weeks that has encouraged me, I’d like to share with you this month Ps: 121 and Ps; 34 17-22,
During this time I had a very good friend call me and with some encouragement from the Lord. When she called I had been talking to God about life and how we were going to work a few things out? He was quick to remind me through his word and through my good friend that it wasn’t how we (me and God) were, but He was working it out and He would take care of it and it would be in His time.

Have you heard the song Josh Turner sings “Me and God”? I love that song, because we can do anything as long as we walk with God and give him control Philippians 4:19 God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory, Philippians 4; 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

PS: 121 I lift up my eyes to the hills where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of the heaven and earth. Skip down to vs 7; the Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore….. Wow!
people God knows that price of gas, he knows the situations of this world, there is not one thing that goes on in Washington , the Middle East or in our life, that He is not aware of. I think we have to be wise and tuned into what God is saying, but know that He is in control, and he will supply the needs and watch over us as we travel these highways of life.

Ps 34:17-19; the righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them: he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; and saves those who are crushed in sprit. VS; 19, A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all…

I had a very difficult week last week and I did not do so well, but knowing that God was there, even though I messed up. I had to do my part and apologize to a couple of people and ask for forgiveness from them as well as God, and for God to help me not fall into that trap again, I’m sure your minds are running wild, what did she do? It wasn’t earth shattering, but it just wasn’t a good witness, so God and I talked and we are good and the people involved didn’t think much about it, but God was not pleased and that is what matters.

So that being said, we all fight the same devil, and if he can get us to mess up he is happy, however, I know the giver of life, grace and redemption and his name is Jesus and that gives me strength to stand back up and pick up my armor and continue on this journey that will lead me straight into Heavens Gates. Just hold on people Jesus is coming and coming soon!

I hope this has blessed, and encouraged someone to pick back up and keep on your journey to Heaven, for we are conquerors through Christ who gives us our strength. Have a wonderful month in the Lord.

Blessings
