Janet Paschal Working On New Project and New Book

Janet Paschal is back writing a new book and recording a brand new CD. The recording, which will be available on the Vine Records label, features a collection of some of the vocalist’s most requested songs. The recording, produced by Wayne Haun, will be entitled Treasure and follows her Dove Award nominee recording Sounds Like Sunday.

According to Paschal the new recording will feature some songs she recorded more than 20 years ago. “I recorded them when I was nine,” Paschal laughs. “Seriously, it’s fun to bring these songs back to the table. We’re keeping the thick, rich production on the the ballads and the foot-stomping beats on the uptempo tunes. We’re staying true to the original arrangements with some slight updating. There are also a few surprises we’re real excited about.”

The recording will be released in conjunction with Paschal’s soon-to-be-released literary work, "Treasures Of The Snow" from Salem Publishing. Both the CD and the book are expected to hit stores this Fall. Visit http://www.janetpaschal.com for additional information on both projects.
