Valor - "Walk On The Water"

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this group has not gone to the top of our industry. Since nobody seems to have heard of this fantastic sounding group, I’ll call them my "sleeper of the week". This cut is an old Gaither song that they have added a new little twist to. I promise, whether your station plays standard SG or Progressive, your listeners will like this one. Heritage Gold - Volume # 33 - cut # 6

Mencer, White, & Cheney - "Mercies Are New"

This is a big sounding worshipful song. It has a rather Progressive Southern Gospel sound, mostly because of the track, but the sound is great. With a message straight from the scriptures about the mercies of the Lord being new every morning, this cut will bless your audience. DJ Man Hit Singles - Volume V January 2003 - cut # 1

Crimson Gold - "Someone To Throw The Rock"

This is another little known group, but these guys have put out a nice radio tune. The message of the song is uplifting, so you better get your shoutin’ shoes on. This track really moves, but the words are all very understandable. I think you should get some requests for this one. Family Music Group - January 2003 - cut # 11

Janice Peavy - "Ain’t Gonna Stop My Climb"

This song has lots of energy and Janice’s touch of country in her voice adds some personality to the song. Coming from the pen of Depp Britt, this upbeat song is one of encouragement. The track is nifty, using a strong Bass guitar to hold the beat steady. This one should get enough attention to do some charting. Give your listeners a treat and let them hear this lively cut. New City Promotions - Volume # 6 - cut # 7

I found this group "VALOR" when I was visiting in Arkansas about one year ago.

They are now my favorite group. I have their Christmas album, and now I heard that they have made a new CD with the music toned down. That should even be better. Harold Wolfe

  4.    Gregg Taylor ~ 01/17/2003

My name is Gregg Taylor and I am the drummer for our church's (New life United Methodist) praise band called Water's Edge. I have been very fortunate to have met and fellowshipped with Valor over the past couple of years. They have performed at our church numerous times and have been performing around our area for quite some time.

They are a tremendously talented group of men who have been blessed with beautiful voices and creative harmonies. Their song "Walk On The Water” is one of their best and is always a favorite. They also perform a version of the Star Spangled Banner that is awesome. I highly recommend a listen to their music. They are destined for great and continued success!

Valor is terrific. Their cd stays in our car. My three year old son knows the words to every song, especially "Walk on the Water". What an awesome impact their ministry is having in his life, in mine and in our community. Take a listen, you'll love them too.

We've had the opportunity to experience the wonderful voices of Valor a couple of times at our church. We love their version of Amazing Grace. Walk on Water is wonderful , such harmonies, we love!!!!!! We hope they travel far in their music ministry for our God.
