Every
genre of music has what I like to call their "best kept secrets". These are artists
who have just as much talent and potential as the big dogs, if not more, yet they
are some of the most underappreciated in their industry ...
David has recently written a booklet called "Recording A Gospel Music Project." After reading it myself, I believe it should be required reading for any artist planning to record a project ...

********************
* By Faith – “Even So Come”
We’ll start with my “Sleeper of the week”. This group is not a household name yet, but with the recent personnel change, their sound will soon be attracting a lot of attention. After you’ve played six fast songs and you need to slow the tempo down a bit, this is a beautiful song with very tight harmony. Give your listeners a treat, but playing this up and coming group. Radio Airplay Promotions – May 2003 – cut # 6
* The Redeemed – “Just On The Other Side”
Here’s an upbeat tune with a bit of a country feel to it. Good harmony and a nice track that includes some good fiddles make this a nice change from all the quartets that get played. The message is one of jubilation. I think your listeners will enjoy this cut. Lighthouse Promotions – Volume # 28 – Cut # 1
* Hoskins Family – “When The Savior Wipes The Tears From My Eyes”
The only thing wrong with this song is that it has a very long title. Once you have announced it though, your audience is sure to get a blessing from listening to this cut. The message is full of encouragement, and Angie’s interpretation is full of feeling and expression. Watch for this one to climb the charts. Daywind Radio Disc – Volume # 49 – cut # 5
* CrossWay – “Prayin’ For Deliverance”
OK, I’ve been telling you to play all these songs after all the quartets, but we better include some good ole quartet music for you to play. This is a “good- un”. This medium tempo song will fit right into drive time either in the morning or evening. This is another song that should see some chart action. Spring Hill Music Group – Volume # 2 / 2003 – cut # 1

LordSong
- Refuse to Be Afraid
Label - Daywind Records
Produced by Wayne Haun
Executive Producer: Dottie Leonard Miller
After having two well recieved albums and a splendid a capella project, LordSong is back with Refuse to Be Afraid, their fourth project for Daywind Records. Never being a group to be held back by industry demands or genre boundaries, LordSong once again has created an album chock full of songs that feed the spirit and delight the ears. Rating: 5 Stars
Kingdom Heirs - “Going On With The Song”
Produced by Jeff Collins
Recorded at Crossroads Studios, Arden, SC
Sonlite Label
There may have been some personnel changes in this dynamic group, but you sure can’t tell it by listening. This is as good a group of Kingdom Heirs as I have ever heard. There seems to already be a chemistry between the vocalists on this group that causes them to mesh. Rating: 5 Stars
