The Dunaways Nominated for SGN Music Award

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. – The Dunaways, one of Southern Gospel’s most beloved talents, has recently been nominated for a 2007 SGN Music Award. The nominees were announced last Sunday, January 21, 2007 on the SouthernGospelNews.com website and through press release.

The Dunaways received a nomination for Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year for the group’s critically acclaimed Zion Music Group debut Revival. The group was nominated alongside industry favorites Sondra Burnett, Sharron Kay King, Young Harmony, and Mike & Kelly Bowling.

“We are so honored to once again be nominated for an SGN Music Award,” mentioned Tammy Dunaway of the Dunaways. “Revival was a real labor of love for our family, and we are so excited to see it recognized in such a great awards program.”

Deon Unthank, administrator for SouthernGospelNews.com said, “The Dunaways had been absent for too long, and Revival was a great way to make their comeback! They deserved this nomination!”

This is the group’s seventh career nomination in the SGN Music Awards.

The nominees for the SGN Music Awards were chosen by the staff of SouthernGospelNews.com. Fans and readers of SouthernGospelNews.com will get a chance to vote for the winners of the 2007 SGN Music Awards beginning February 1, 2007.
