I think it's a shame that a great song like "Altogether Lovely" by the McKameys hasn't made it to the charts. Because of the younger demographics on the web, groups like the McKameys, Inspirations, and Primitives typically do not do well on Internet forums, posts, and polls. IMO, they are seen as too homespun, too country to be hip enough to warrant much accolades or positive attention. I think that's a shame. The song "Altogether Lovely" is one of the best songs of the year lyrically, in my opinion.
