The Pioneers

Pioneers Qt - Apr 2004

March has been one BUSY month for the Pioneers. We spent 3 out of 4 weekends in at Goldmine Studios recording our yet unnamed 3rd album. Once again we are recording an album we think will have at least one song that will appeal to just about everyone. We are planning on releasing it in May so be on the lookout on our website for this new album real soon.

At the first of March, we finally got to listen to Chris quit whining about wanting a corvette. He was able to talk his bride in to letting him purchase an older, like Chris, corvette so now he is happy and we can get some peace. Maybe we can get him to put a picture of it on the web, you never know. Also in March Hurley celebrated his 18th birthday- again (he is actually 35 now but don't tell him you found that out here). You can tell he is getting older because in the last week of February he had a senior moment when out hiking. He fell in to a ditch and sprained both ankles. The rest of the guys think he did it on purpose so that he would not have to help with equipment set up.

In April Mike is celebrating his wedding anniversary. He has to really work hard around this time of year to make up for his wife agreeing to marry him. Also this month the Pioneers will be singing at the second annual Noonday Association Seniors Day at First Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA. Be sure and check out the website for a complete schedule listing. We would love to see you guys out on the road somewhere.

As always, pray for us and all groups as we spend much of our time on the roads of this great country, trying to spread the good news of Jesus. Be it here or in Heaven, we hope to see you on the right trail.
