The Perrys - Summer Time Sings

Hey gang,

Here we are! It's June, a month to celebrate our Dad's. It's the month when the Perrys take a week off for vacations with our families. It's also time for those outdoor singings to take place! Well, we have had our share of those already and I decided this month to list the Top Ten items that you will need for this years summer sings. So here goes,

A Flashlight. (when the sound equipment pulls to much electricity and the power goes out. Ask Kirk Talley about that night in Cape Carteret, NC)
Tiki Torches (If no flashlight is available)
Bug spray (Make sure you get the brand that wards off the West Nile Virus)
One can of Lysol (for the guy in the seat beside you who just had too many onions on his hot dog)
Tums (when you have had too many onions on your hot dog)
Rubber boots ( to get you to and from the car, concession stand and restrooms when the rn rain just won't quit. Kinda reminds me of a mud sling, doesn't it you?)
A hat/umbrella combination (when you want to block everbody's view behind you. I havern been behind one of those before)
A blanket ( guys, your ladies will love you forever if you remember this one!!!!)
A camera ( that you forgot on the counter at home)
AND FINALLY....The # 1 thing that you will need for this years summer sings,

Drum Roll please.................

Patience!!!! ( when you are standing in line with a million other people waiting for one of rn Promoter Bill Bailey's 3 for $10 specials from his record company!!!! HA!HA!)

Be looking for our new album, "This is the Day" in a bookstore near you soon! We love you all! Please come out to see us!rn rnUntil next time,

now Curt, you know the wait at Brother Bill's product table isn't that long. I've helped him at table several times and usually we can go through the stack to sell out in less than ten minutes..what a deal!! looking forward to another great outdoor concert at Live Oak, the Suwannee River Jubilee! see ya'll there.
