Fill everyone in on what's been going on lately?

Things have been very crazy around here! Lots of great things happening in this ministry! I've been nominated for an American Christian Music Award! I feel so blessed to have been nominated! What an honor! It is amazing to think that God could use a small town girl like me to share Christ with others through music!

When can we expect some new music from Sondra Burnett?

I am so excited to tell everyone that I am currently in the studio producing a new CD! It is produced by Les Butler and I can't wait for you to hear it! Lot's of great Southern Gospel songs!

What's next up to bat for your ministry? In other words, what do you see in the immediate future for your ministry?

I will be at NQC again this year! My booth number is 128 so please stop by and see me! I'd love to be able to visit with you!

You not only sing, but have a very big women's ministry and Christian comedy is a big part of who you are. Explain a little more about those areas of your ministry for those aren't as accustomed to you personally.

A very large part of my ministry is "Just for us girls"! Women have so much going on in their lives! We are the taxi driver, housekeeper, nanny, chef, laundry mat, tutor, accountant, nurse, therapist, and let's not forget my personal favorite..... our husband's "help" mate. If your home is like mine, I find myself answering 100 questions a day that start with "honey, do you know where my _________ is"! I say all that to say "WE NEED A BREAK" and that's what I like to offer women! I have been so blessed to have partnered with some wonderful ladies who share the same love of women's ministry as myself! We offer a women's conference that we bring to your church or community that is filled with laughter, tears, and lot's of joy! Our focus is on showing women that they are beautiful, talented and have a rich inheritance in Christ! We point them to the Father through some awesome worship together and in-depth Bible study! Can you think of anything greater than that? I tell people all the time that there is nothing like one of our women's conferences, because when you get that much estrogen in one room....... it's a memory you will not soon forget! What are the long term plans for your ministry? What's the future hold for you?

I am so excited to see what God has in store for the future of this ministry! I don't try to "make" things happen, instead, I try to let God open the doors to the places that He would have me go! I never want to place myself somewhere that He has not ordained me to be! He continues to amaze me! He knows when I need to be home with my family, and He knows when I am needed in a certain church! I love it when He shows out like that! I want my plans to be in line with His plans, so I just take a back seat and watch Him go! Besides, anyone who knows me knows that I am the WORST planner in the world! That's how I know that God is sending me out to the various places, because He knows I am directionally challenged!

What has God been teaching you lately?

The future for this ministry is simply this: Look for me, cause I'm gonna be out there serving my Lord to the best of my ability!
