Sharing Southern Gospel

My group, First Love travels across the country singing the gospel. We discuss every topic we can think of to help pass the time by. We discuss favorite meals, theology, childhood memories and our favorite topic, Southern Gospel music.

One day, we were throwing around ideas to help promote not only First Love, but Southern Gospel music as a whole. We thought you might enjoy our list. Please let us know some of your suggestions!

1. Take copies of Singing News and US Gospel News to waiting rooms in Hospitals and Doctors offices.


2. Buy a subscription to Singing News and US Gospel News for libraries or your Doctors office.


3. If your family owns a business use a Southern Gospel CD for your telephone on hold music or the music you play in your place of business.


4. Purchase Southern Gospel CD's for birthdays, baby dedications or everyday friendship gifts.


5. Encourage your church to use Southern Gospel music for choir specials, prelude music and offertories.

These are just a few, if you can think of some others send'em on in. We need to help each other promoting the Gospel. Until next month!
