Booth Brothers

In 1990, Ron Booth Sr., a former singer with the Rebels quartet, joined his sons, Ronnie and Michael to form the Booth Brothers. Growing musically through the years, the group has gained recognition within the industry by being named the 1999 SGMA New Artist of the Year, 2002 SGMA Trio of the Year and 2004 SGN Male Group of The Year.

At the age of five Ronnie sang The Night Before Easter on the Rebels' television program. Ronnie's love for music and singing continued to grow as he joined the choirs in junior high, high school, and at church. A major highlight of Ronnie's life is Ronnie Lee III who is carrying on the singing tradition of his father and grandfather. Ronnie truly believes God has blessed him with the ability to sing and that this talent should be used to serve the Lord. He feels it is his obligation to do his very best to point people to Christ through his singing and testimony.

Michael Booth's introduction to music came through hearing his dad's Southern Gospel group "war stories" as well as listening to Southern Gospel music. Singing came late for Michael when his first attempt to sing came in 1990 at the age of 19.

Jim Brady, formerly of the Shulers, joined Michael and Ronnie in 2002. Jim has been writing songs since he was sixteen and has written over 100 songs. He is a contract songwriter for Centergy Music. The Ruppes, LordSong and The Whisnants, as well as many others have have recorded some of Jim's songs.

The group, one of the regular artists on Bill Gaither's Homecoming tour, are also recording artists with Spring Hill Music Group. They are loved for their warm personalities both on and off stage where they go the extra mile to touch each heart with tenderness.

The Booth Brothers' trademark is their warm harmony present in almost every song. Coupled with music written by Godly song writers such as Mosie Lister, Squire Parsons, Phil Johnson, and Jim Brady, every song carries a unique sound and a powerful message. The desire of every member of the group is that God would be glorified with each and every note.

Thanks for the info on the Booth Brothers. We have their CD in our car and play it a lot. I tried to click on their Web sight but nothing happened. I find this happens a lot when I try to get other groups.Don't know why I can't get them. Would like to read more about them and where they are going to be. We get the Singing News and see some of he places they will be at, but it's usually too far away. They are one of our favorite groups. We have been fans of Southern Gospel Music for over 40 years.

The Booths are the best of today's Gospel artists. Their love of the Lord and the music comes through on and off stage. They respect the ones who have gone before while forging their own road. Nobody does it better.

Hello,Ronnie, Michael: It was my privilege along with my wife, Doris to be at the Gospel Music Festival in Red Deer, Alberta this past July. The Lord blessed my life through your ministry. The Friday afternoon showcase of your ministry was especially great becasue you "opened your lives" to let us know that you are simply His Instruments of Grace. Yes, God was truly glorified that weekend through your ministry and the others. I cam to your table the previous summer (2004) to chat with Ronnie. He took time out from the many waiting to chat with me. I shall always remember that. It is these occasions that make your group (in my opinion) one of the best to be in such ministry. I have many of your CD's. My wife and I listen to them in the house, over the DVD in our home and in the car. Do continue uplifting The Lord Jesus Christ until He comes. "Occupy until He Comes".
