Gordon Mote Enters Into Distribution Agreement with New Day

RSI Music Group and Gordon Mote have entered into a distribution agreement with New Day Distributors. Gordon’s single “I Catch ‘Em, God Cleans ‘Em”, from the CD "There's No Place That Love Can't Reach" has hit radio stations nationwide. CD soundtracks will soon be available through New Day as well.

Blind from birth, Gordon Mote has achieved much in his 34 years. He began playing the piano at the age of three. Gordon was one of the first blind students in the country to mainstream into the public school system. He received a full music scholarship to Jacksonville State University in Alabama where he attended three years. He then transferred to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where he graduated cum laude with a degree in music.

Two days after graduating from Belmont, he was hired as a keyboard player and background vocalist for Grammy award winning artist Lee Greenwood. Since then he has traveled with such great artists as Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood, as well as appearing as a regular with Porter Wagoner on the Grand Ole Opry. Currently, he is considered one of Nashville's premier session players. You can hear him on albums by such acclaimed entertainers as Jeff and Sheri Easter, The Booth Brothers, Martina McBride, Randy Travis, The Gaither Vocal Band, and The Martins among many others.

Gordon, married for 12 years to Kimberly, is the proud father of two beautiful children, Samantha and Parker. They attend church at St. Paul Southern Methodist Church in Nashville, TN where Gordon currently leads praise and worship on Sunday mornings.
