Update on Crossmen Quartet member Boyce Flener

Approximately two weeks ago we announced that Boyce Flener was diagnosed with a hemorrhaged area on one of his vocal cords by the Vanderbilt voice clinic.

Well Boyce revisited his doctor last Thursday and received some encouraging news. Praise to God, the past 2 weeks of treatment has improved the swelling of the injured area. He is now allowed a small amount of talking each day and will be rechecked in another 2 weeks. Still no singing, so he will continue to be out for a while longer. Surgery is still a possibility, but it is dependent upon time and healing. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

THE CROSSMEN DO A GREAT JOB. THEIR RECORDING OF YOU ARE THE ONE IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG HIT. I MET BOYCE AT A CONCERT HERE IN TEXAS A FEW YEARS AGO AND THOUGHT HE WAS A GREAT PERSON TO BE FRONTING A GOSPEL GROUP AS WELL AS A TALENTED SINGER.

I pray for healing for Boyce Flener. The Crossmen are a sensational group. I bought their recording "Thoughts Of Him" in the late '90s and still think it's one great recording today. One of the most underrated groups in all of gospel music.
