Lamp Music Group is pleased to feature the spotlight on one of the most exciting additions to their acclaimed Gospel Heritage Label this month - - The Old Paths Trio of Oxford, GA.
This captivating and energetic music ministry is still a new name to the Gospel music industry, but each of their members share a distinguished pedigree as members of several notable groups including the Rowlands.
The group consists of members Tim Rackley, Douglas Roark, and Chad Dominey. These men have really spent some time and have really been led of the Lord in their musical selection. They are very comfortable with a broad range of styles. From traditional Southern Gospel to some of the fresh new sounds of today’s Gospel music. As a result, in only 2 ½ years God has blessed their ministry and they have been in full-time operation for nearly a year.
Popular campmeeting artists, The Old Paths Trio has recently seen an increasing demand in many different types of services including Concert, Revival, and Special Christian Corporate Events.
Producer, Mike Pillow recently shared his thoughts about this exciting ministry, “Contrary to their name, The Old Paths are really a breath of fresh air. Although they perform traditional Southern Gospel with great expertise, they are able to convey some of the best new material in a way that is so incredibly powerful. Not to diminish anyone else in the industry, but this group is definitely one of the most powerful new artists in Gospel music today!”
Solid Gospel’s Les Butler also recently said,” God has really put this group together in an exciting way, The production sound and vocal blends are absolutely wonderful.”
Over the past 18 years Lamp Music has grown to become one of the most successful labels in several different genres of Christian music. At a time in the industry when other companies seemed to be trapped in the past with production and marketing concepts that are 20-30yrs old, Lamp has consistently focused on what it TAKES RIGHT NOW to get the word out in the most powerful way to promote the Gospel Message in song. It is our pleasure to continue this legacy of life-changing artists, and the Old Paths trio fits in perfectly with this plan
Their brand new Gospel Heritage recording, “For The First Time” is available now. Their single by the same name is doing quite well at radio currently. Their newest single, “The Fire Still Burns” will be at radio this February on the Lamp Sampler Vol 27 – which will also available as a download to radio stations via the exclusive Lamp Digital Distribution Service.

This is one real up and coming groups of our time.A group that old and young alike will enjoy. This is real toe tapping Gospel just the way we like it. Keep them coming...
amazing group, definately a must hear
They are Great! This is one of the best groups that I have ever heard in the gospel music arena. And I have been a fan of gospel music for the past 30 years. They are a blessing and they know who they are singing about. Spirit filled and full of the holy ghost fire.
I praise God for allowing me to know these men thru the Spirit. Their work for God is a full time pursuit. God's hand is upon them and his presensence is evident in their concerts. I love them all and pray for their ministry.
Are you the same Trio called "El Trio De Hoy"
My name is Douglas, Doug Roark's son. All three singers in this group try their best to love and woship the Lord. Even though they're always on the road they're loving and caring father figures. They have great personalities and the group has a great sound. The Old Paths Trio is a upcoming and must have group in the southern gosple industry for years to come.
my dad is Chad Dominey, and i would like to say that these guys love the Lord with all their hearts. i can honestly say that my dad lives out what he sings about everyday! they also have an awsome sound! i love being able to travel with them and hear them sing. their music is appealing to teenagers as well as senoir citizens. they have a catchy tune and a message all in the song. you don't get that very often. i believe that the lord has great pland for this group. plans that they can not begin to imagin, and i am honored to be a part of it.
I own all of thier CD's and all of my family members have received great joy from listening.
the old paths trio are unique in the fact that they are more than entertainers or singers, they are ministers and missionaries for a lost world. their blended style touches many different hearts, in many different places. i can truly see the old paths continuing to have an impact in southern gospel, as they continue to impact lives.
These guys are GREAT !! ... We've got a couple of their CD's and we listen all the time.... They're going to be BIG!
Man..GREAT group.
The Old Paths Trio has become my all time favorite group! I love your music! I love your ministry!
this is truly an inspired and touched group. every time they perform you can tell that they are led by the holy spirit.
We heard these guys at a Full Gospel Business Men's Banquet and they were fantastic. They have great individual voices but the harmony they achieve is just awesome !! The only problem is that they've become so popular that booking them has become more difficult .... but I guess that's a good thing since that means their audience is growing and more folks are being exposed to that wonderful music.
I have known Chad Dominey and his family for a good many years and have great respect for him and a lot of faith in his christian life. I own one of their CD's and really enjoy their music. I would personally recommend this Trio to any who loves the Lord and enjoys good christian music.
Love this groups music...so do my kids!
WOW such uplifting music
I have received a blessing every time I hear "The Old Paths Trio" sing. They have a distinctive sound and Doug Roark is a great speaker for the group. He is entertaining and spiritual too. Tim Rackley, the lead singer is my favorite. Doug and Jason harmonize so well it truly is a blessing to hear them. More people should listen to the song "I've missed out" and For the First Time.
The Old Paths Trio is a spirit-filled group with a heart for God. They have been in our church on several occasions. They minister to saved and lost alike. They understand the leading of the Holy Spirit and what is needed for the church today.
This group not only talks the talk; they walk the walk! I own 2 of their CD's. Their music is not to be missed! It will lift up your heart. Thanks, guys!
Wow, what a great group of guys.
We met these guys at NQC, man what a blessing.Their love and ministry they have for God is truly amazing. We just had to have them at our church. The harmony and smooth sound was so outstanding, that we already look forward to having them again at our homecoming this year.We love these guys and their families.Thank you Old Paths Trio and God Bless You.
Having loved "Traditional Gospel Music" and old timey "sings" for all my 43 years, I was taken in by the title of this group. But when I heard them sing at my church in southern Georgia I was completely taken in by the pure talent that God has given each of these men. Individually, they are just amazing to listen to and when singing together these guys just fill my heart to bursting for the love of my Lord. I and my entire family have all of their CD's and are hoping to hear much, much more.
These guys are wonderful. They sound like they were made to sing together. I receive a blessing everytime I listen to them.
This is an outstanding group of young men that love the Lord and convey it so well through their music. What a wonderful outreach and testimony! Chad, Doug and Tim - you're in our prayers. Keep up the good work. God Bless!
We have all of your CDs and especially love your latest one. Looks like we should have gotten you to autograph them!
Great Group! When can we hear ya'll on the radio?
I enjoy this group please play them more.
I think that the old paths trio is a good group.
Not only do I love their music, I have had the pleasure of working with one member of the group namely, Chad Dominey. Thank the Lord that these young men are devoting their lives to their savior and only heaven will reveal the fruits of their labor.
We love the Old Paths Trio--Each time we have heard them live we have truly been blessed by both their talent and testimonies of the guys. We take them everywhere we go, home...in the car...We pray for them consistently and trust that God will continue to bless them as they serve Him...We love you guys!
Whenever I hear them sing, I feel the Holy Spirt. You can tell that GOD is working in their lives and in their music.
I have all your CD's. The fire still burns is my favorite song.
I love their music. Their music and testimonies have touched my life. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to hear your next CD....
I have not heard these guys yet, but by reading the article about them and a comment from a friend, I would definitely like to attend one of their concerts or have them sing at my church.
I have known and traveled with these guys for two years now. One thing that is crystal clear, they are the real deal! These guys sing to praise God's name and serve without fail. I have spent long hours with them on the road and never leave without a blessing. I love each one of them and their families dearly. Guys you have truly been a blessing in my life, my family's life and I treasure the friendship and fellowship we have. Your sound is unmatched and your message is powerful. Keep up the great ministry. Your brother in Christ!
We had the Old Paths Trio for our New Year's Eve Sing, and they did a tremendous job for us! They do a great job singing, but they are good men and present themselves well! They represent our Lord well! If you're looking for someone to be a blessing to your people--Old Paths Trio is who you want to have! Best of all, they sing with the "touch of God" on their lives! We've got them coming back in June!
I attend the Sardis Free Will Bapist Church, the Old Paths Trio came to our New Year Eve's Sing. Their ability to sing was unsurpassed, however what impressed me the most was the anointing on their Singing and ability to present the gospel through song.
Words are not enough to describe these guys. Not only is it amazing to here them sing but to really get to know them is also amazing. We have all of there CD's my 3 year old knows all the words to their songs and loves all of the guys. They will be the next BIG GROUP. If you have not heard them you need to get one of their CD's.
Its obvious that blessings are coming from this youthful fresh sound that reaches a demograghic that is in much need of ministry.
I love their music!! I put on their CD and painted my whole house (inside) in a couple of days - - their music is full of energy, praise, and sincerity to the awesome God we serve!! Can't wait 'til the next CD!!!!!!!!!!!
It's great to see a group of guys giving their all in service to the King! It is not easy to sing night after night and stay red-hot for Jesus but the Old Paths Trio does an excellent job! I can't wait to see what all the Lord has in store for these guys.
Haven't heard them, but looking forward to listening to them since they come highly recommended by my friend Pat Parks
What a talent group of young men! I look forward to enjoying many years of their music!
This group has been at our church two times. We all enjoyed them very much.
I am the pastor of Good News Baptist Church in Cornelia Ga. Last year we had the Old Paths to kick off our Jubliee on Mon. nite, and these guys know the Lord! We had 2 people that gave there heart to the Lord and were glorious saved!
I have heard these guys several times. They have been to Goodwater Church on two occasions. I would recommend any pastor to invite the Old Paths Trio to your church. They will be an inspiration to your people. At our recent "Start Right Night" January 1st they were mightily used of God.
Chad Dominey is our son-in-law that we are very proud of. We've had this group in our church twice and they were a great blessing! Our people are still riding around with their CD's to listen to each day. What makes this group such a blessing is that they are real! They sing what they feel and feel what they sing. Our prayer is that they will continue to be a blessing both to the young and old.
These guys sing with passion and are a blessing to listeners of all ages. What a talented group!
Hey guys! What an honor to be highlighted this month. We knew you could do it with God all things are possible!
The Old Paths Trio are the most anticipated and requested young Gospel group around. Not only do they exibit unmatchable harmonies but also Spirit filled lives. They are sure to make an unforgetable mark on quality Southern Gospel Music.
The Old Paths Trio visited our Church last September during revival. What a blessing!!!!
So glad you have chosen The Old Paths Trio
Let us tell you that these guys can some more SING! And the best part is that they LIVE what they sing. God has blessed them with talent and they make sure and give Him the glory. That is just amazing. They are a great group of young men that love the Lord and enjoy singing for His glory.
The Old Paths Trio is a newer group that love God and ministry. How could you lose with that combination? My personal favorite song on this project..."The Fire Still Burns"... and if you've ever talked with these guys, you'll know that's an understatment.
Old Paths has got to be one of the most exciting groups on the road today!!!! What an honor it is to write songs for them. I was absolutely shocked at what they did with "The Fire Still Burns." And the best part is when they sing it, God is all over them!
I became acquainted with the OPT at the Greir,SC campmeeting in 2004. Since then we have become great friends and have been in meetings together. It is a tremendous blessing when they come down to Victory Baptist Church in N. Augusta, SC where I am under the leadership of Victory Baptist College, and pastor Dr. Larry Brown. It is very evident that the OPT walk with the Lord and know the presence of God through their powerful singing.
I have had the honor to work with The Old Paths on their DVD project. I'm glad to see the LORD showing favor on their ministry. These guys are truly a blessing and our church is looking forward to having them return.
this group knows what they are singing about, the are the most humble young men i have ever been around. they will go far if they remember who they are singing for, and stay just as humble as they are now. and by the way they can really sing to.
I love The Old Paths Trio. Their music is a ministry that will reap the harvest they have sown. May God always protect them from evil, guide them on their journey, and light their paths in the trying and dark times of their lives. Anytime they are in the Spartanburg/Greenville area, they know that they are among friends.
THE OLD PATHS TRIO IS ONE OF THE BEST GROUPS I HAVE
It is unfortunate that in a time when people are rejoicing in His Holy name that a few will seek out barbs to throw at a group of young men trying to do Gods bidding and spread the Gospel through song and praise. I'm happy that this group has been blessed by the Holy Spirit and have received MORE hits in a single day than some more noted groups. It simply means that they have touched someone enough to have that person comment...Praise God! This is certainly the arena in which we need no envy, spiteful antics..just happiness for these young men who have dedicated their lifes, forsaking ALL others and doing Gods work. Lets reach out and support them as well as others with thanks for giving us a reason to tap out toes aND CLAP OUR HANDS to honor Him above.
Tim Rackley has been one of my best friends for many years. I have known this group since it started. They have a great sound and are great guys. Down to earth with a great attitude. They want to sing and do it well. I am very proud of them. They are an asset to the Southern Gospel Music industry.
The Old Paths Trio is a great group of singers. They are sincere and a blessing. May the Lord richly bless all of you.
I had the distincy honor of being placed right beside these guys at NQC. Not only are these men the real deal but have become one of my favorite groups. I count it an honor to know them.
When you have the Old Paths Trio, you don't have a concert , you have a worship service, This is what Christ loving people enjoy. They will not only bless you with their singing ,but also with their love for Jesus. You would do well to have them come to your church or area.--Danny
Hey my name is Megan, I have traveled with Chad Dominey and his daughter Darby. These three guys all have a heart for God and have given their all to Him. They have great music, who everyone can enjoy. And they have fun.
It's obvious that God is blessing these boys! 66 hits in how many days ..3.Amen!
This Group was sent by God. They have been to our church twice. We are members zt Mt. Olive Baptist Church,Dahlonega,Ga. We have two of their cd's.They are great.
The Old Paths Trio is absolutely wonderful. They have to come my church twice and we have been absolutely blessed by them. I truly believe that God has brought these guys together to convey his message of love and forgivenss through song. The first time they came to our church was for a revival in 2003, we had such a moving of God's spirit like I have not seen in a long time. We drove up to North Georgia to see them this past weekend and it blessed our hearts. My son son who is 12 years old also loves their music. This in itself is a great blessing, we don't listed to any music that is not God honoring and it is great that they can cater even to my 2 teenage sons.I just bought their new CD and it is even better than the last. I pray that God would continue to use them greatly. I look forward to seeing them again they are really down to earth. We love you guys Alex, Victor and Emmanuel.
I had the previledge of hearing this group sometime ago when they sang at a Full Gospel Business Men`s Banquet meeting. They are very talented group and all appear to be very committed chritian men.
I have been in the ministry for the last four years and been in evangelism for the last two. I have seen the Old Paths Trio in many different meetings and revivals and this is a group that stands out. Whether they are off-stage or on-stage, they present themselves with the power of God on their lives. They are a group that far exceeds performance and entertainment, but they are a trio with a message, one that needs to be heard. I would strongly recommend the Old Paths Trio for any revival, campmeeting, or concert. The rest of Southern Gospel music will be missing out if they don't hear this group!!!!
WOW! What all can I say about these guys? They are truly awesome! My husband and I have spent time with these guys in a church atmosphere, along with outside of church - and each of them have been a blessing to both of us. There aren't very many groups that you can say live the life that they sing, but this one you can. We are truly honored to say that The Old Paths Trio is a part of our lives.
I am the associate pastor at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church in Columbus, GA. We have had these guys come and minister to us twice; and we will continue to use them. As the article said, these guys put together a blended program that appeals to many different age groups. Their sound is unique and harmonies are tight. Above all, these guys love the Lord. My prayer is that God would continue to use them to transform lives.
We personally know two of the families in the group and can vouch for their sincere desire to serve God.
I want to say that we were listening to the web hosting program in a simple christian station in Hartford CT. and your music came on and we got so happy.I hope we can hear more of your music we really enjoy it.Is so full of power that it reaches the soul.I hope others can have the same experience. It"s a joy! Thanks again.
I had the opportunity to hear these guys for the first time Sunday night. What an awesome group of young men. Each individual has an incredible talent and their voices blend together in such a beautiful way. This group sings with an annointing from God and you certainly have no doubt that they know the ONE they sing about. I have followed Southern Gospel music for a very long time and this group of your men will go to the top of this field. They have talent, personality, a love of what they do, commitment, and a passion for seeing lost souls saved. They are "polished" beyond their years.
Ever since my husband heard the music he has been so happy that i beleive that he has been delivered.
This group is my absolute favorite. They came to our church for the 1st time last May and they sang one song that sparked a Holy Ghost Fire in our church....We traveled over two hours this past weekend to see them. You know with these guys that they are not up there to show off their voices, they are up there to show off their God. Chad, Tim, and Doug - you guys are really awesome, and you bless me everytime I hear you and I thank you for singing, Wedding Day, last Saturday night. I look forward to the next concert that I am able to be at. God Bless You! Brandon Andrews
I enjoyed their presentaion of the gospel. They have a pure sound and deserve some positive attention.
These guys are on their way up!! We are honored to have The Old Paths Trio as one of the premiere artists at the First Annual SGM FanFair!
These guys love God with all their hearts! They have a great sound, and I am proud to call them my friends!
We've had these guys at our church on several ocasions, and we enjoy them every time they are with us. Tim is my pastor's son, I've known him all my life. We used to sing with the Rowland's together, so we traveled many a road together. I know from knowing them the way I do, that these guys are real. They have a heart for God, and a heart for the ministry of singing.I'm so very proud to know them, and to say that they all are my friends. May God continue to bless them in all their endeavors!

I met Mr. Roark at Lamp Music studio and I can honestly say that I felt God all over him. These are great men of God and I expect to hear great things out of them in the future.
These 3 men are wonderful. I was able to hear them on Monday, the 7th at a Jubilee in Powder Springs. The way they blend their voices together is truely a gift from God. I know for a fact that Tim's family and home church are very proud of him. Congratulations and keep up the great work of sharing the Good News to the world.
