Lighthouse Promotions Releases Special Radio Release

Radio will soon be receiving a new radio compilation from Lighthouse Promotions. This compilation only contains two new singles, one from popular female soloist Janet Paschal and the other from new group Tony McGee & New Covenant.

Shane Ferrell, owner of Lighthouse Promotions, says "We could have waited till after the first of the year to get these new songs to radio on a full radio compilation but I wanted to get them out ASAP. We will release these again on a new Lighthouse Hits Compilation in January." Shane continues, "Both of these songs are very special to me and have tremendous messages! I believe people will be uplifted and encouraged as they listen to these songs."

The first single is by new artist, Tony McGee & New Covenant. The group consists of Tony McGee (formerly of The Redeemed), Karen McPherson, and Shane Ferrell (of Lighthouse Promotions). They present you with a new song called "I Have No Doubt." This is the second single from their debut project "Somebody Prayed." The song was written by Stephen Phillips from Gaffney, SC. The song has a special message about the promises God made and kept for His people. This brings an assurance to believers today that He will keep His promise of His coming. This song is the follow up to their Top 80 Song, "On The Third Day." The song peaked at #44 (on the February Singing News Chart).

The next song is by Southern Gospel's Sweetheart, Janet Paschal. Janet has numerous Grammy Award nominations, Dove Award nominations, Singing News Fan Award nominations, and has over seven Top10 songs to her credit. Janet has been singing for many years and has sung numerous classics. She was featured on many of the Nelon's biggest songs such as "We Shall Wear A Robe And Crown" and "Come Morning." Since her solo career began in1985, she has had many hits of her own. Songs like "Written In Red," " I Am Not Ashamed," and "Thank God For My Christian Home" are songs that will be remembered for years to come.

Janet's new single, "If You Had Known Me," is a song that will soon become a classic. Even though the song is included on her new project, "Home Again," this is not the first time she has recorded it. Janet shares, "John was cataloging some all of my work (LPs included) and each time this song would play, we'd both stop what we were doing and listen. Some days later when we were talking about the new project, John said, 'Do you know what song I think you should put on it?' and I instantly knew which one he meant - 'If You Had Known Me'. We wanted it just like the original Nelon's recording and, fortunately, the producer - Wayne Haun- was a big Nelons fan. He remembered every nuance of it. It is a plesure to sing it now, some 20 years later. Who'd have ever thought that would happen?"

Radio should expect these new releases around the last week of December.
