Dave Wilcox Promoted by Eddie Crook

Eddie Crook, founder and President of the Eddie Crook Company, has announced the promotion of long time employee and industry veteran Dave Wilcox. Effective immediately, Wilcox will relinquish his position of National Director of A&R and Media Relations to head a new division for the always innovative ECC.

Dave’s new title will be that of Senior Vice President for Strategic Development and Corporate Acquisitions for the Eddie Crook Company. His areas of responsibility will include creating and launching several new ventures, products and events as well as exploring possible acquisitions for the company. Additionally, he will continue to recruit and sign talent for the company’s label rosters.

Eddie Crook, who hired Wilcox in 1982 as his first employee, stated “Dave has been a integral part of our company since day one. Many of his ideas have become standard operating procedures, not only for our company, but also for the industry as a whole. Janice and I are confident that Dave will continue to be an effective leader for our family of artists for many years to come”.

Wilcox issued this statement “I am grateful to Eddie and Janice for choosing me for these new responsibilities. I am excited, energized and ready to serve our company in this new capacity! I believe that the name “Eddie Crook” may be the most recognizable brand name in all of the traditional Christian music industry and I am ready to explore the vast possibilities that exist for our company as well as for our family of artists!”

The Eddie Crook Company has been the driving force in the traditional Christian music industry since 1978. The ECC specializes in recording, promotion, management and publishing for both new and established artists.

Dave is my buddy. I appreciate the ground he has cut for all of the radio promoters out there. And he is a friend to gospel music. He and Eddie Crook- are the reason most of us-if not all of us have jobs. They made Southern gospel music an industry- thru Gods grace and their sweat.
