New Speer Revival Signs With Solid Rock Productions

Nashville, TN - Marc Speer of New Speer Revival announced the signing of a booking and promotion agreement with Jim Hefner of Solid Rock Productions. The announcement was made following New Speer Revival’s performance at this year’s Southern Gospel Promoter’s Association banquet in Pigeon Forge, TN. The union will bring together two well-known and respected names in southern gospel music. Jim Hefner co-founded the Southmen Quartet with Tim Riley and Jack Toney, and later became one of the top promoters in the southeast. He is the current president of the SGPA and is the booking agent for several gospel artists.

The legendary Speer Family was started by G.T. Speer in 1921 and is carried on today in the form of New Speer Revival by third-generation Marc Speer, oldest son of the late Brock and Faye Speer.
