Nashville, TN-Gospel Music Hall of Fame member Dottie Rambo was honored by ASCAP on April 27 with a special release party for her new DVD and CD project produced by Bill Gaither. The project titled "Dottie Rambo and Homecoming Friends" debuted at the number one position on the Southern Gospel SoundScan charts, number one on the Top Christian Video Charts and Number 23 on the Contemporary Christian Music Audio Charts.
Bill Gaither was on hand for the occasion and commented "Gloria and I always say that there are originals and then there are originals...Dottie Rambo is a true original!"
