2003 International Songwriting Competition Finalists Announced

For Immediate Release, December 10, 2003...The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is pleased to announce its 2003 finalists. These finalists were selected out of 11,000 entries from 60 countries. Winners are selected by the ISC judging panel that is comprised of the most prestigious and influential judges in any songwriting competition. Judges include: B.B. King, Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), Monte Lipman (President, Universal Records), Pat Metheny, Paul Oakenfold, Guru (Gang Starr), Arif Mardin (VP/GM, Manhattan Records, Producer of The Year - Grammy Awards 2003), Nile Rodgers, Phil Vassar and many more. Winners will be announced in January, 2004.

The 2003 ISC will yield a total of 68 winners from 13 musical categories who will share in over $100,000 (USD) in cash and merchandise.

In addition to the regular winners, ISC also includes an online vote that allows the public to listen to the finalists' songs and vote for their favorite.
