Fire Dept Saves Gospel Singers Home

On the morning of Christmas Eve, The firemen at the Ironville-Summit Fire Department in Ashland, KY. responded to the home of The Keetons. Three to five minutes after neighbors called in, the fire chief was on scene. They found the electric connect box on the pole in flames and giant sparks arcing from the box, licking the house.

The Chief walked up to the pole with no regard for himself and broke into the meter box which was above the connect box and ripped the meter off the pole. Stopping the arcing, but the pole was still burning. Minutes later a few more firemen showed up and quickly put the fire out.

Dan and Nancy Keeton are greatful to God and the heros of the fire dept, who could have been home with their families on Christmas Eve, instead they were on call and serving their community.

The Keetons home survived without a hint of fire. A little put out for Christmas, but alive and well, thanks to the Lord and the Ironville - Summit Volunteer Fire Department.
