We were blessed to have crossed into Canada on a couple of occasions within the last month. We were in New Brunswick in mid December and Saskatchewan on New Year's Eve! Folks, going North in the middle of Winter may not sound delightful, but it was! GOD was at every turn, with each step, in every smile and in every challenge! We made it through the border without Elliot's passport that’s another story. We stormed through some rather snowy conditions (OK, they were "blizzards" to us southern boys). We made a wrong turn on an icy/snowy country road and ended up at a "dead end" cove (no pun intended) in a 45 foot bus -- folks, it was a near "breathtaking" experience (OK, I meant that one) as George Curnutte turned the bus around on a dime -- only to be met with one of the most beautiful landscape settings these eyes have seen. We worshipped and fellowshipped with the loveliest folks you'll ever meet. Many thanks to Don Mabee of New Song 96.1 FM for allowing Three Bridges to be a part of his 9th anniversary program. We had a fantastic service the next morning at Rothesay Baptist Church and A Big Thank You to Dr. Lindsay Taylor and his staff for taking us to a great restaurant and feeding us fresh lobster. All I Can say is WOW!!!. Sunday night found us at another great Church, Sea View Full Gospel Church where Pastor Gordon Cooke Jr. gave us some fresh Moose steak’s to take home. We performed new year’s eve in Regina, Saskatchewan Canada for a wonderful promoter Don Miller thanks Don for allowing Three Bridges to be a part of this great event. We fought through colds and hoarseness. We braved minus 50 degrees weather. We literally sprinted through the entire, huge Minneapolis airport on injured knees to make it to the next flight due to our late return flights. We fortunately avoided a laughter-induced hernia from Tim Lovelace, got blessed his God-given many talents and shared with him about trials, tribulations, blessings and his and Mary Alice's most recent God-driven decision and so much more! No matter what, no matter when, no matter where, GOD WAS ALWAYS THERE! This is a great time of year -- after just having celebrated that new birth of that Savior in that old manger, we head into a fabulous new year! May God bless you richly in 2010!
His blessing’s to you-all….
