It is great to see that many businesses, large and small, are using Merry Christmas rather than the bland old happy holidays. I guess when sales are down and profits are harder to reach, being politically correct starts costing them money. I would hope and pray that this will continue, even after things start looking better.
More important is the fact that we as Christ-ians now have the opportunity to shine the light of Christ-mas and let folks know the true meaning of the joyous time. It is our chance to tell folks that Christ is the light of the world and that His birth started a life changing story that still lives today. This has been left out of so many peoples lives over the years and we now have the chance to bring Him back to this season of Joy and Happiness.
Let your friends and family know Christ is Christmas and it may just change their life. For those who are still holding on to happy holiday or to the atheists who are using the signs to say there is nothing to celebrate in December, Tell them too! Let them know that Christ is alive and it started with His birth. You never know how Christs life changing message might be received and you will have given the BEST gift you could ever give this Christ-mas!
