Blessings From Bethlehem

Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is busy rushing to the malls and buying gifts. So many times we often forget about the true meaning of Christmas. The Savior of the World was born in a stable in a manger. He came to the world and died on the cross so that we may spend eternity with Him forever. All we have to do is accept Him into our hearts. The Plan of Salvation is so very simple but we are the ones that make it complicated. He has prepared a mansion for us in Heaven where there will be no sorrow or pain, no heartache or grief and we can sing praises to Jesus for eternity. During the Christmas season, may we take this opportunity to reflect on the baby that was born in Bethlehem and love that was in that stable in the manger. Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head, the stars in the sky looked down where he l ay, the little lord Jesus asleep on the hay. When we stop and listen to those words that we have sung time and time again, it is amazing to think that He laid on the hay as a baby and then years later he laid on a cross to take all of the sin of the world onto Himself. Thank you God for sending your son Jesus to us on CHRISTmas!

As we travel up and down the interstates night after night, we often get the question, "WHY do you do what you do? WHY do you leave your families every week?" It is because of that same baby that was born at Christmas in a lowly manager. You see folks; Driven is a CHRIST centered MINISTRY. Of course, we love to
sing and see the world, but the reason that we leave each week to ride several hundreds of miles is because we want to reach the LOST. All four of our hearts long to spread the Gospel of Christ. We do not want to see anyone have to spend eternity in Hell. Often times, we as humans can make it so difficult and complicated
when there is only two choices: HEAVEN or HELL. If one soul comes to know Jesus through our ministry then every mile we have traveled was worth it.

During this time of year, as the year is beginning to come to a close, we take time to reflect back on the past year and think upon what God has done for us. In our ministry, night after night we have seen people break down the walls in their hearts and come to know Christ. It is an amazing sight and feeling to watch as someone accepts Him into their hearts. God has blessed Driven so much from opening up dates, keeping us from harm on the road, to providing the means for needs to be met. You know, many times trials will come up in our life and we think how will we ever get through this but just hold on and the Lord will show up and He will take you through. We have been given a huge responsibility to go ye therefore and preach all nations.

We use songs and testimonies to speak to people‚s heart. I am so thankful for all the blessings that Driven has been given this past year and this Christmas I want to spread the light that shown so bright that Christmas in Bethlehem: the stars in the sky looked down where he lay. Driven would like to thank you all for your love and support that you have shown to us during 2009. We are looking forward to what God has in store for our ministry in 2010. We hope and pray that you all have a
Merry CHRISTmas and a blessed New Year.

See you all soon in 2010.
