I was watching the History Channel the other day and a special about Flight 93 was on. To again see the sacrifice these folks made to protect others was an inspiring moment that brought back memories of that day now 8 years in the past. It seems that we as a nation have a short attention span and get so relaxed in the times that seem to be safe and secure. Our government tries to tell us THEY know what is best for us because they have all of the answers.
Let us all not forget that it is not government, or other people, or even ourselves that have any of the answers. The God of the Bible has a map for the future and if we as a people humble ourself, lift Him up, and most important, repent and turn from our wicked ways, God will bless us and our nation again. Until then, we will be stuck in the muddy mess we are in. Some of our elected officials seem to think that it was our fault that we were struck on that terrible day, but if they had the same unselfish attitude as those folks on Flight 93, our country would be in a much better state than it is in today. God wants us to stand up for what is right, not what is wrong. He wants us to be that shining light of love and compassion, and not to be weak. God Bless This Great Nation and its people!
Come see us at booth 109 in the Song Garden Music Group booth area and meet the Cavaliers Quartet and others. We always love to see our fellow Americans and gather around the music that lifts the spirits of the Christian and changes the heart of a sinner.
