CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Popular Southern Gospel group Driven Quartet is proud to announce the release of their latest mainline recording.
The new project, simply titled Driven Quartet, released this month and is available to purchase on the group’s website or at ministry and concert events.
Driven Quartet was produced and engineered by Wesley Pritchard and recorded at Mill West Studios in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Driven Quartet boasts instrumental work by some of the industry’s most sought-after studio musicians – such as Jeremy Medkiff, Milton Smith, Rick Murray and more.
Jason Funderburk said, “We are very excited about the release of this recording. The guys in the group really sang their hearts out, and we’re anxious to finally make this music available to the public.”
The new recording also features some of Southern Gospel’s most talented songwriters such as Joel Lindsey, Chris Binion, Joseph Habedank, Matthew Holt, Gordon Mote, Zane King, Geron Davis, and many more.
The debut single from the album, “Between a Rock & a Hard Place” was written by John Darin Rowsey and Justin Rivers and has done exceptionally well for the group.
The song reached Top 20 on both the Gospel Music News Top 100 (#14) and SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart (#12) and Top 40 on the Singing News Top 80 (#27). The song has also been a regular fixture on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 40 Fan Chart.
Earlier this year, Driven Quartet earned their first SGN Music Award nomination. The quartet landed a nomination in the category of Breakthrough Artist of the Year – a category that honors new and rising artists in Southern Gospel music.

About Driven Quartet
Based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, Driven is not new to Southern Gospel music. Collectively, this group of young men has been singing professionally for over 20 years. Their resumes include such groups as Danny Funderburk & Mercy’s Way, The Anchormen, and Lumber River. In 2006, this group of young men, through prayer, stepped out on faith and commenced their new full time career. Heeding to the call on their lives to present the Gospel through music, these four gentlemen created Driven Ministries.
