Romans 12:2 is very clear, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Over the last few months, we have opened our personal lives to you, revealed our dark past and proved how God has transformed all of it into His perfect will. It hasn’t always been this way. In the beginning, almost seven years ago now, we were simply out singing on the weekends, staying busy, having radio success, and maintaining full-time jobs to support our “hobby.”

When we allowed God to transform our past, He proved His faithfulness to us. And once we were obedient to His call, boy did He ever prove to us His perfect will.

In October 2007, we were driving a Ford Expedition with 250,000 miles, crammed in like sardines, pulling a trailer. We had just surrendered our lives, our jobs, and our entire family to full-time ministry and had just discovered we were expecting child number four. HOW were we going to make it?

Two years earlier, Adam saw a bus online, for sale by owner. He called me to the computer and said, “This is our bus.” I laughed and said, “We can’t afford that.” Two years later, Adam called the owner of the bus who gave him the terms and down payment requirements, and that was that. Before he hung up, Adam gave the man our website.

This man indeed went to our website and read our testimony. To make a long story short, he met us at a singing, spent three days with our ministry and at our home, left the bus parked in our front yard, rented a car and drove 1,000 miles back home. A few days later he called and said, “You don’t owe me a penny, the bus is yours.” What a faithful God we serve when we are faithful to Him !! And He is ALWAYS on time !!
