Hello Everyone, Some friends of mine are going through a very difficult time right now. There son was in a car accident and some of you may know about it due to the prayer request I have sent out, but for the rest of the world I hope this blesses your life as well as it has lifted my spirits.

Ps: 16:8 reads “I have set the Lord always before me, because he is at my right hand. I will not be shaken.
Ps: 18:30-36 (you can read further of course) “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.”
Sometimes life throws a curve ball and sometime it hits us straight on right between the eyes.

God does not promise to keep us from life and its circumstances, however God does promise us to give us the grace and the strength to stay on the chosen path the he has chosen for us. Not to be shaken is to not be thrown off the path, to keep our eyes on God and what is important to God. When we raise our children to serve God and to live a righteous life God gives us promises; however we must live one before them that is our job as a parent. When our children make decisions to go against what they know is right, they have consequences to pay, we all do. Sometimes we want to blame God and he is not the blame, we are, for doing what we knew was wrong. God is there willing to help us as we walk the road to recovery. He never leaves us, but he does let us make decisions of our own, we are not robots, we are willing vessels that God has created to live for him and love him but, he added that free will in there (sometimes it would be easier if it was not there, I know) and we have to decide if we are going to be shaken or not.

God’s ways are perfect and he will walk with us everyday if we ask him too, and he has given us the tools to succeed, and it is up to us to us them. We can live a Victorious life in Christ if we make that choice to do so. So what are you going to do? I know what I’m going to do….. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord….

Blessings,
BEV
